Next Meeting
Community Cats TNR quarterly meeting – Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 2 p.m. at 703 St Catherine Street, Ludington. Please come, join our group of dedicated volunteers, and lend your ideas!
2023 Garage Sale
The 2023 Community Cats TNR garage sale was held on Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19 and again the following weekend on Friday, August 25 and Saturday, August 26 in the 4-H building at the Western Michigan Fair grounds.
The sale was huge with a great variety of donated items! This continues to be our major fundraiser each year and again this year was a great success. Thanks to all who made donations and to the many volunteers who helped set up, take down, and work on sale days.
Treasures on display at the 2022 garage sale.
Canisters for Donations
Community Cats has donation canisters located at the following area businesses: Northside Market, Brenda’s Harbor Cafe, Chuckwagon Pizza, Chef John’s, Pizza Hut, Hamlin Grocery, Book Mark, The Market (formerly Grassa’s), West Shore Market, Acres Co-op, and Kuntry Kubbard. Your extra coins and bills dropped into those canisters really add up and are very much appreciated!
Collecting Dry and Canned Cat Food
Dry and canned cat food is being collected in the box at Family Fare (formerly Shop N Save). This food is provided to caregivers who are feeding hungry, homeless cats. This is a huge help to folks who regularly add the cost of cat food to their family’s weekly food budget. Purina Complete (blue bag) is a favorite. Thank you for cat food donations!
Purchase pet products on bissell.com
We are proud to be a Bissell Partner for Pets member. Bissell and LostPetUSA.net have teamed up to help organizations like ours raise money, and now you can help too! When you purchase pet products on bissell.com and enter the code ADOPT at checkout, a portion of the purchase will be donated to our organization! Please help us show our support by liking the Bissell Pet Foundation Facebook page. Our appreciation to the Bissell Pet Foundation for previously granting Community Cats TNR $1,250 to further the trap-neuter-return of feral cats in Mason County.
